Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, keep data on your device in the same way.

2. This website

• One cookie, ecorg_cookie_notice, set only when you press OK on the cookie notice. It holds the value “ok” and stops the notice from showing again. It is our own cookie, kept for 12 months.
• No analytics, advertising or social media cookies, and no third-party cookies.
• Fonts load from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details; Google Fonts sets no cookies.

3. The application

• A strictly necessary session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is set when you sign in and removed when you sign out or the session ends.
• Your browser's local storage keeps the settings of the device you work on: the interface language, the till's display and selling mode, the shift open on that till and the hints you have dismissed. They stay on your device and are not used to track you.
• No analytics or advertising cookies.

4. Consent

Strictly necessary cookies and the notice cookie need no consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), because they only do what you asked for. That is why the notice has no “accept” or “reject”: there is nothing optional to switch on. If we ever add a cookie that needs your consent, we will ask for it first and update this policy.

5. Your controls

You can see and delete cookies and local storage in your browser's settings. Deleting ecorg_cookie_notice shows the notice again. Blocking cookies for app.ecorg.one stops you from signing in.
